DESCRIPTION:The department of laboratory medicine and pathobiology is hosting Adrian Ferré-D’Amaré for a special tenure-track and Canada Excellence Research Chair candidate seminar. \nDr. Ferré-D’Amaré short bio: \nDr. Ferré-D’Amaré is a senior investigator and chief of the laboratory of nucleic acids in the National Heart\, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at the National Institutes of Health. His research focuses on using biophysical approaches to study RNA molecules and their interactions with proteins to engineer them for antibiotic discovery.
