Dr. Starczynowski’s short bio:
Dr. Starczynowski is the director of the Advanced Leukemia Therapies and Research Center and a professor at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. His research is focused on investigating the molecular and cellular basis of hematologic malignancies with the goal to advance novel therapeutic strategies.
In his presentation, he will share recent research findings that link microbial-derived sugar metabolites to the growth and multiplication of leukemia cells.
