SUMMARY:One Health approach to preventing bat viral spillover in Africa
DESCRIPTION:The LMP Seminar Series will be hosting Dr. Wanda Markotter\, who will be presenting a talk titled “One Health approach to preventing bat viral spillover in Africa”.  \nDr. Markotter is a professor at the University of Pretoria\, South Africa\, as well as interim director of Future Africa and director of the Centre for Viral Zoonoses. \nEPIC steering committee member Dr. Samira Mubareka will introduce Dr. Markotter’s lecture. \nWhen: October 1st\, 11am-12pm \nWhere: Medical Sciences Building\, MS2170 \nAttendance: LMP students must attend in-person. A Zoom invitation is available on request for faculty who cannot attend in-person. \n
