DESCRIPTION:The EPIC Trainee Advisory Committee is hosting a workshop on careers in public health. The workshop brings together 4 panelists who will share their insights and tips to transition from academic research to careers in public health. \nThe panelists are: \n\nCatharine Chambers\, PhD Applied Public Health Scientist\, Public Health Ontario\nVanessa Tran\, PhD Clinical Microbiologist\, Public Health Ontario\nBryan Griffin\, PhD Biologist\, Public Health Agency of Canada\nSean Colyer\, DVM\, MScPH Field Epidemiologist\, Public Health Agency of Canada\n\nThe workshop is on October 24th\, between 5 and 7 pm\, and includes a networking session with the panelists. \nThe event is open to all trainees connected with the University of Toronto or EPIC’s partners (The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids)\, Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute at Sinai Health\, Sunnybrook Research Institute\, Unity Health Toronto\, and the University Health Network). \nPlease sign up using this form and join us for the event! \n  \n
