DESCRIPTION:Join EPIC’s trainee advisory committee (TAC) for their bimonthly Trainee Pizza Talks! \nThese informal 20-30 minute seminars offer a PI-free space for trainees to practice their presentation and science communication skills in a friendly environment\, while enjoying some pizza while they’re at it! \nThis month’s Pizza Talks will feature the following seminars: \n\nJoint species distribution models identify putative within-host interactions of microparaistes in migratory juvenile pacific salmon by Erik Curtis (PhD candidate in the Krkosek lab)\nDIY filters for tuberculosis surveillance and infection control by David Kormos (Postdoctoral fellow in Siegel lab)\n\nDate: February 5th\, 2026 \nTime: 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. \nLocation: Red room\, Donnelly Centre \nRegistration is not required. \nIf you would like to give a seminar at one of TAC’s Trainee Pizza Talks\, please sign up using this form! \n
