Indigenous experiences and opportunities in biomedical career paths

The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research hosts an all-Indigenous panel of medical, graduate and undergraduate students and researchers from across Ontario. Panelists will provide insights on how they navigated their academic path, their future plans, and discuss how institutions can encourage Indigenous students towards their career goals.

The panelists are:

  • Kristine Keon, M.Sc., Medical student, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto
  • Meghan McCue, PhD candidate. Biomolecular sciences, Laurentian University
  • Jayson Pomfret, Undergraduate student, Health sciences, Queen’s University
