Lunch Lectures: Topics and techniques in infectious disease research

Hosted by EPIC Trainee Advisory Committee, the Lunch Lectures is a seminar series aimed at building skills and knowledge to help trainees in their infectious disease research work. This is an exciting opportunity to hear from senior trainees about how ideas can be applied to your research over a pizza lunch.

Véronique Taylor (research associate, Karen Maxwell’s lab, biochemistry, Temerty Faculty of Medicine) will talk about her exciting research employing bacteriophages to fight bacterial infections.

Talk title: “Eavesdropping on bacteria to improve phage-based therapeutics”

Date and time: February 20th, 12 PM

Location: MSB 5231
