EPIC Trainee Pizza Talks

Join EPIC’s trainee advisory committee (TAC) for their bimonthly Trainee Pizza Talks!

These informal 20-30 minute seminars offer a PI-free space for trainees to practice their presentation and science communication skills in a friendly environment, while enjoying some pizza while they’re at it!

This month’s Pizza Talks will feature the following seminars:

  • In vivo adaptation of Neisseria gonorrhoeae through phase variable loci by Sophie Dyzenhaus (Postdoctoral fellow in the Gray-Owen Lab)
  • Estimating causal estimands from time-varying real-world data using Bayesian marginal structural models by Nancy Tahmo (PhD student in the Mishra Lab)
