This special event will feature Steffanie Strathdee, infectious disease epidemiologist, Harold Simon Distinguished Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Diego, Co-Director of the Center for Innovative Phage Applications and Therapeutics (IPATH), and Arthur Slutsky Visiting Scholar at Unity Health Toronto, delivering the keynote lecture: Necessity is the Mother of Invention: From HIV to Phage Therapy.
