Catalyst Seminar Series – Session 1: Long-COVID

The Catalyst Seminar Series is hosted by the Institute for Pandemics (IfP) at the University of Toronto. The aim of this series is to spotlight the innovative work of interdisciplinary teams tackling urgent challenges in pandemic and public health emergency, preparedness, response, and recovery.

This first session will be virtual and feature presentations on the following projects:

  • Understanding the impacts of structural racisim on (im)migration and racialized population living with Long-COVID in Peel Region: A community-centred approach.
    • Presented by Dr. Kathi Wilson and Dr. Andrea Rishworth from the University of Toronto Mississauga
  • Investigating Post-COVID-19 Condition in Ontarians and Marginalized Communities
    • Presented by Dr. Joseph Munn from the Sunnybrook Research Institute
