Mark Jit is chair and professor of the Department of Global and Environmental Health at the New York University School of Global Public Health. He is also co-chair of the Lancet Commission on Strengthening the Use of Epidemiological Modelling of Emerging & Pandemic Infectious Diseases. He will be presenting a talk entitled “Navigating the future of infectious disease modelling and global health“. There will also be a small trainee networking chat after the seminar.
