The EPIC Trainee Advisory Committee is hosting a workshop on careers in public health. The workshop brings together 4 panelists who will share their insights and tips to transition from academic research to careers in public health.
The panelists are:
- Catharine Chambers, PhD Applied Public Health Scientist, Public Health Ontario
- Vanessa Tran, PhD Clinical Microbiologist, Public Health Ontario
- Bryan Griffin, PhD Biologist, Public Health Agency of Canada
- Sean Colyer, DVM, MScPH Field Epidemiologist, Public Health Agency of Canada
The workshop is on October 24th, between 5 and 7 pm, and includes a networking session with the panelists.
The event is open to all trainees connected with the University of Toronto or EPIC’s partners (The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute at Sinai Health, Sunnybrook Research Institute, Unity Health Toronto, and the University Health Network).
