Join EPIC’s trainee advisory committee (TAC) for their bimonthly Trainee Taco Talks!
These informal 20-30 minute seminars offer a PI-free space for trainees to practice their presentation and science communication skills in a friendly environment, while enjoying some tacos while they’re at it! This month’s Taco Talks will feature the following seminars:
- Bacterial antiviral immunity is a conserved population-level response by Alyssa Vander Zee (Supervised by Karen Maxwell)
- Microfluidic cell culture platforms to spatially isolate extracellular vesicles for characterizing inflammatory signalling in a polarized gut barrier model by Yaren Yildirim (Supervised by Lindsey Fiddes & Pamela Ohashi)
