The celebration begins on the evening of November 18 with a special Opening Reception featuring bioMérieux, their partners, and distinguished leaders from across Canada’s AMR landscape. On November 19, hear from renowned national and international experts as they share innovative approaches, practical tools, and impactful strategies advancing the fight against antimicrobial resistance. Through discussions on policy, programs, and implementation, we will explore how Canada continues to drive meaningful change and maximize its impact against AMR. The theme for this year’s symposium is Fighting AMR Where We Can Make The Most Impact.
Poster presentations:
- Trainees across all disciplines and Canadian institutions are invited to present their research in antimicrobial resistance, therapeutics, diagnostics and antimicrobial stewardship as a poster presentation at the 2026 AMR Symposium. Registration fees are waived for the presenting author of an accepted poster.
