Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Research Day

The annual University of Toronto Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Research Day returns on June 10 and 11, 2024. Join us for a day of trainee talks on June 10 and an invited keynote, faculty talks and posters on June 11!

This event is organized by the Emerging and Pandemic Infections Consortium in collaboration with the Division of Infectious Diseases at U of T’s Department of MedicineDivision of Infectious Diseases at SickKidsInstitute for Pandemics and U of T’s postgraduate medical and clinical microbiology programs.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

To submit an abstract for an oral presentation on Trainee Day or a poster presentation on June 11, please complete this form. The submission deadline for oral presentation consideration is May 10, 11:59 pm EST. Abstracts submitted after May 10 will only be considered for a poster presentation on June 11.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are also looking for senior trainees (third year PhD students or higher, postdoctoral fellows and research associates) to review submitted abstracts and select abstracts for oral presentations on June 10. We expect the abstract selection process to happen in mid-May. If you are interested in helping select abstracts for the 2024 MID Research Day, please complete this form.
