Ensuring infectious disease research and response reach everyone, equitably.
Infectious disease burden is never distributed evenly. The same pathogen can have vastly different consequences depending on who it reaches and what supports they can access. This cluster centers equity in infectious disease research, working with community partners, social scientists and public health researchers to understand how infection intersects with social determinants of health, and to design responses that benefit the communities most affected.
